I have been married for 23 years to Félix Osegueda. We have
three children - Félix Andrés (16), Karen Marie (15), and Mónica María (14).
My husband and I finished college at Texas A&M University. He worked on two masters while I finished my bachelor's degree. We said several times that we would go back to El Salvador, but we got a job first. We liked it too much and started a family. We live in Clear Lake City, which is a suburb southeast of Houston. My husband works for Bechtel Corporation (a worldwide construction company) and I work for United Space Alliance (an operations contract with NASA for the Space Shuttle and Station).
Our children want to go to a university in Texas. In August, Félix Andrés will be a Senior, Karen Marie a Sophomore, and Mónica María a Freshman. Félix Andrés wants to go to Texas A&M University and Karen Marie & Mónica María want to go to Rice University. Lets see how it goes.
Taking everybody to soccer practice, music lessons, cross-country meets, movies, friends' houses has been easier this year since Félix Andrés helps out. In October, Karen Marie will have her license so she'll be able to take herself places and help out like Félix Andrés does. Mónica María will be learning to drive in December. I'll finally have time to catch up with the photo albums, diary, gardening, and much needed aerobics!
