I don't know if you remember me, but I was looking for some information on El Salvador a month ago and came across the class web site.

I was your high school math teacher in 79. I loved reading about all you 'kids' and also Senor Rodriguez who now gets to retire (I'm envious - I have many years to go yet!).

I still keep in touch with Phil Oakley, David Dreher and Jeff Boenig (he was a junior high school math teacher and one of my housemates).

Phil Oakley,is still teaching and teaches in El Paso. HE is going to retire in a few years. He never married and is into ball room dancing and golf, I think.

I left El Slavador in 1980, and moved to Hawaii where I have been ever since except for some years of training at UCLA and in Arizona. I went to medical school in Hawaii and sub-specialized in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology. Basically, that means I take care of children who have cancer. I got married and have 3 children ages 13, 12 and 8 (now you can see why I MAY NOT retire anytime soon). Life is pretty busy around our household, as is every household's with kids these days.
